Hike To The Cross

We had a Youth Activity this morning.  We hiked to the Cross above Bambang this morning.  It was about 30 minutes each way.  It was a lot of fun.  I miss hiking a lot.  This is short panorama of the Bambang Area.  I love the Philippines!  It is a Beautiful Place!

I hope we get to meet this young man, he has been a great missionary to our son and he looks like he would be a riot to visit with.

Elder Bangal Transferred - I Am Staying in Area

We got the transfer list.  I'm not transferred... But Bangal is.  It was a really big surprise.  I thought I was transferred for sure.  I'll let you know the particulars next week.  We still don't know anything.  We had a good week.  The zone had a couple baptisms this week and a bunch of interviews so we are excited for the coming week.  Our zone is gonna change a lot.  Bangal, one of the sister leaders and both of our district leaders are being transferred.
The work has been alright we have a few investigators that are getting close to baptism, so we are excited about that.
Bangal and I have been hitting the basketball court hard.  Its actually a lot of fun.  I really should have played sports in high school.  We had a game this morning with the solano zone leaders (rivalry).  Bangal and I won. :)  I have no idea who my next comp is gonna be.  I've learned a lot from Bangal though.  I am a different missionary because of him.  He will definitely go down as a favorite companion.
I put some pictures up.  We told most of the branch that I would probably be the one that would transfer.  I guess not...  I really do like my area and I love the members.  They are awesome!
Sorry -- Kind of short but I love you guys!

District Conference, Splits, P-day, Package from Home

How is everyone doing?  This entire week has been super tiring but good.  We had splits with the AP's in Cauayan so we had a super long drive and then work in a different area.  We were able to go on some splits this week without  zone.  We are emailing a little later today because we just got back from Banaue.  I am putting some pictures up right now.  It was a lot of fun.  This is the 3rd time for me and I still enjoy it.

Yesterday, President Rahlf came done to conduct a surprise district conference.  We got a new district presidency.  The old district presidency did a great job.  We are excited for the new district presidency to get up on their feet and to help the district become better.

Oh and by the way, I got my package!  Thank you!  Everything was great.  Elder Bangal loved the Peeps!  I loved the Oreos!  I think it had been sitting at the mission home for a while.  We don't get mail down here very often.  Thank you again for everything!  It was great!

I love you all.
